Storm Callum to BATTER Glasgow with heavy rain and strong winds

"An ORANGE level warning is issued by Met Éireann for wind speeds with the capacity to produce risky, stormy conditions which may constitute a risk to life and property".
The warning comes into effect from 10pm tomorrow night and covers Donegal, Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, Kerry Dublin, Louth, Wexford, Wicklow, Meath, Cork and Waterford.
Winds will be strongest overnight and early on Friday, gusting between 110kph and 130kph at coasts.
Meteorologist with Met Eireann Joanna Donnelly says all coastal counties will be impacted.
The national forecaster said a band of stormy weather will bring a risk of coastal flooding to the west of the country, while a separate area of low pressure could bring heavy rainfall to the east at the weekend.
There are still yellow alerts in place for wind and rain for Northern England and large swathes of England and Scotland.
The UK Met Office now has a yellow wind warning for Friday and rain warning into Saturday.
Storm Callum is now swirling off the southwest coast and will deepen rapidly over the course of the next 12 hours, according to Midland weather expert Cathal Nolan. Gusts 50 to 60 miles per hour are likely in some places, with potential for gusts of 70 to 80 miles per hour around exposed coasts and hills. This is also set to elapse at 9am on Friday morning.
