We've all been able to delete our Google search history in our browser but now Google is allowing users to delete their actual search data.

Also on this page, you will find other relevant privacy settings, such as controls for ads that Google displays while you search.

The new controls are now available in Google Search on desktop and mobile web.

Let's Miss Messi while We're Winning, Says Valverde
He was trying to reclaim the ball when he ran into the back of Sevilla midfielder Franco Vazquez and fell in the 17th minute. The 31-year-old could only last 26 minutes on the pitch before he was being replaced with France worldwide Ousmane Dembele .

The new controls essentially give you direct access to some of the same settings that are found on your Google Account dashboard. But clearing the activity data that's on Google's servers has never been especially easy - deterring many users from clearing the record of their darkest desires and favourite bad memes. If you want to tweak the type of ads that Google shows you, you can do that, too, in Ad Settings.

Google has unveiled a new feature today that immediately lets users access and delete their search history within search itself. First, it's now easier for users to delete and control their search data, making it more hard to target ads to them. To that end, Google on Wednesday announced via a blog post that it is finally giving users greater control over the endless amount of data that it stores, starting with Google Search. It'll then bring up a form where you can set a date range through which your activity will be deleted, as well as the Google products that this will apply to. All of this data is used by Google, and the company says that it isn't shared with any other third party. You can now quickly erase this history from Google's search results rather than heading to the Google Account dashboard.

Simply put: People are more aware of their personal data and how it can be harvested without their explicit consent and maybe weaponized against them and their own self interests. The company also recently updated its Privacy Policy, making it a lot easier to read and understand, a move spurred by Europe's General Data Protection Regulation.
