Amidst a growing controversy, Meyer was placed on paid administrative leave Wednesday as the university launched an investigation - an independent one - into the extent of the coach's knowledge of domestic abuse allegations made against a fired assistant coach.

On Wednesday, Meyer's Ohio State program was rocked by an article chronicling accusations of domestic violence against a longtime staffer.

"It's a insane, unfortunate situation", Apple said after training camp practice on Thursday.

Offensive coordinator Ryan Day will serve as acting head coach for the Buckeyes, expected to be one of the top teams in the nation again this season.

Ohio State fired assistant coach Zach Smith on July 23, soon after college football reporter Brett McMurphy published a report with multiple domestic violence allegations against him. Meyer issued a statement saying he and athletic director Gene Smith "agree that being on leave during this inquiry will facilitate its completion".

The reason it affects Meyer is because Courtney Smith, the ex-wife, claims she told Meyer's wife Shelley about what was happening and that Meyer would be informe as well.

Demi Lovato is recovering well
So we said, 'OK, let's do more Demi.' And she was game. "Please continue to send her love during your recovery". Speaking to TMZ in NY on Monday (30Jul18), Khaled said, "I love Demi and Demi's gonna be great".

There are, however, a sufficient number of facts that show Meyer is in real danger of losing his job, and the dismissals might not stop there.

Zach Smith was sacked on July 23 after he was served a civil protection order on behalf of Courtney Smith. "I'll have to fill you in on that later if I can".

"I got a text last night that something happened in 2015, and there was nothing", Meyer told reporters at the Big Ten Media Days, adding, "I don't know who creates a story like that".

"All the [coaches'] wives knew", Courtney Smith told Brett McMurphy, a college football reporter laid off by ESPN past year who posted the story on his Facebook page.

Zach Smith was charged in May with misdemeanor criminal trespass. Those messages include pictures of a bruised Courtney Smith. "I was never told about anything and nothing ever came to light". First I heard about that was last night.

She continued, "When somebody is crying out for help, I believe, the coach along with the coach's wife have a duty".
