Three women who worked with Charlie Rose at CBS News sued the network and former talk show host in NY state court Friday, accusing him of repeatedly making sexual advances and then firing two of them for speaking publicly about his alleged misconduct.

Two of the plaintiffs, Brooks Harris and Chelsea Wei, worked with Rose at "CBS This Morning", where he was a co-anchor until his November 21 firing.

Charlie Rose was sacked after eight women leveled sexual harassment accusations against him.

The 17-page lawsuit alleges that Rose repeatedly touched the women, all in their early 20s, sexually caressing their arms, shoulders, waist and back, pulling them close to his body, and kissing them on the cheek in 2017.

The complaint - filed in New York County Supreme Court by former CBS employees Katherine Harris and Sydney McNeal, as well as current employee Yuqing Wei - alleges the network knew about Rose's long history of sexual misconduct around young female coworkers but did nothing to stop it.

The lawsuit comes one day after the Washington Post published an investigative story that reported an additional 27 women, including 14 CBS News employees, had accused Rose of harassment.

The three women claim Rose had a nasty side, berating them for booking the incorrect flights and calling them idiots.

Ms. Harris, who worked at CBS before going to work for Mr. The lawsuit also alleges that Wei warned Kadro about Rose's behavior. Both Harris and McNeal lost their jobs after Rose's PBS show was canceled in the wake of the Post's reporting.

Rose then contacted Wei, who was an anchor assistant on "CBS This Morning" at the time, telling her, "My relationship with you is the man I am in all my relationships", according to the complaint.

Three former CBS employees who allege that Charlie Rose sexually harassed them are suing him. CBS "did not investigate the complaint, and did not take any remedial action", the lawsuit alleges. The newspaper also reported that CBS managers were warned of Rose's conduct at least three times over a period of 30 years. Rose reportedly called her "China Doll". Her complaint included allegations against Kadro, whom she said kicked her chair as a show of intimidation. He later offered her a job with his company, which produced "The Charlie Rose Show" which aired on Bloomberg and PBS. The lawsuit says that Wei's health suffered as a result of her experience with CBS.

CBS News did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The women's attorney, Ken Goldberg, of the Manhattan firm Goldberg & Fliegel, said his clients have a strong claim under New York City Human Rights law, which he describes in the lawsuit as one of the "broadest and most protective laws against discrimination in the nation".

They say they were subjected to "repeated, ongoing and unlawful physical and verbal sexual harassment" by Rose. Hours later, three new accusers at CBS News made further claims against Rose.
