Toure "Delighted" By Title But Ready To Leave Manchester City

Record-breaking Man City will be remembered for 100 years says Fernandinho Yaya Toure to leave Manchester City, says Pep Guardiola

What they've done is an unbelievable achievement.

The campaign is not over yet but Pep Guardiola's men have already smashed the record of most consecutive league wins in one season and are the only team to have scored over 100 goals so far.

After a delay due to a pitch invasion by the supporters, Guardiola and his team were presented with the trophy, the third country in which he has managed a team to a title following successes in Spain and Germany with Barcelona and Bayern Munich respectively.

"England is a special place and is so tough", Guardiola told Sky Sports.

"That means this is more than just watching football, it is a way of life, it is about caring the lovely game, the values we cherish and something that goes through all of our bodies, through every cell of our body".

He went on to say: "Thank you for having me for such a long time, I know that is not easy but above all I am like you - I am an Arsenal fan".

"You win, you lose, but always you have to try to do what you believe". We lost a little bit of focus this week but it's normal. "Back to back in this league will be tough but we accept the challenge".

The celebrations for City's third title in seven seasons began well before kick-off, both inside and outside their home ground.

What 3.9% Unemployment Tells Us About the Economy
The average workweek for production and nonsupervisory employees on private nonfarm payrolls increased by 0.1 hour to 33.8 hours. While average hourly earnings have suggested only a gradual increase in wage inflation, other measures have been more robust.

Like Toure, David Silva has been key in City's rise, the Spaniard also winning three Premier League titles at the club, as well as a trio of EFL Cups. These title celebrations have been curiously drawn out.

"I'm delighted [to have won three Premier League titles], to be honest".

But, in contract to comfortable City wins against Swansea and West Ham, there was no hint of Huddersfield showing the champions too much respect when the contest finally got underway at the Etihad.

Victory would have guaranteed Huddersfield safety and another season of top flight football.

In fact, Huddersfield had the better chances - through Chris Lowe and Florent Hadergjonaj in the first half - before defending deeply and obdurately after halftime.

After their draw with Huddersfield, City are a point short of Chelsea's Premier League record of 95 with two games left to play.

City started brightly, with Christopher Schindler clearing off his line from a scramble at a Leroy Sane corner, but otherwise Huddersfield defended manfully and substitute Scott Malone might even have snatched a dramatic injury-time victor for the visitors.

The champions have been nonetheless seeking to break the report for targets scored and factors gained in a single Premier League season however may exclusively handle a 0-Zero draw.
