SEGA AGES Brings Retro Classics To Nintendo Switch

Sega FES 2018 Announcement Sega Ages Bringing Classics To Switch Beginning In Summer 2018

The first SEGA AGES batch will come out this summer.

Back when console games are running 16-bit graphics, Sega and Nintendo were rivals in the gaming industry.

A miniature version of the Sega Mega Drive, called the Sega Genesis in the USA, will be released later this year, Sega announced this weekend at its Sega FES event.

Remember the Sega Genesis?

The titles will have a simultaneous development in Japan, North America, and Europe.

It's the console that was home to classic video games like "Sonic the Hedgehog", "Streets of Rage", and "Golden Axe". It's great to see Sega systems getting so much love, especially on the Switch, but we've still got so many questions about what all the series will entail. It's a Sega Genesis (or Mega Drive) in looks alone.

NBA Playoffs Recap: No. 2 Boston vs. No. 7 Milwaukee
The Bucks closed to 89-87 before Marcus Morris made a falling down jumper just inside the arc to make it 91-87. The Milwaukee Bucks shot 48.2 percent from the field while the Celtics shot 41.5 percent, and they still lost.

Sega Ages is a collection of Sega classic games that will be released for the Nintendo Switch this summer in Japan, the USA, and Europe.

The pint-sized feat of engineering will likely replicate the HDMI connection used in NES and SNES Mini consoles. Will any of you be grabbing a Mega Drive Mini later this year? The question of who is building it, however, is somewhat less clear - and that matters, given how the company handled its last micro console.

There's also some exciting news for fans of the Sega Dreamcast and Saturn consoles too.

It appears that a company named AtGames is responsible for the console. Those posts do not now appear on the page.

Firstly, SEGA made an announcement that Shenmue I & II will soon be coming to the latest consoles like Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Previous year a company called AtGames released the SEGA Genesis Flashback console, which received some rather scathing reviews from critics.
