Release of Dark Souls Remastered pushed back to Summer 2018 on Switch

Dark Souls Remastered Dark Souls: Remastered for Switch slips to “later this summer”
Stacy Houston | 18 April, 2018, 03:24

While this remastered was originally planned for a May 25 release on the console-handheld hybrid, the date has now been pushed to sometime this summer.

Given the seasonal flip-flop, that'll be our winter.

It's also been suggested that From Software will eventually port all three Dark Souls games to Switch, but that rumor is unconfirmed at this time.

The current-gen remaster of the first Dark Souls game is highly anticipated by fans of the third-person action-RPG series. Still, the idea of portable Dark Souls is one that's hard to resist, even if the Nintendo Switch version may not run as well as the other versions. Because there's no point having an amiibo for a game you can't play yet. Unfortunately, it seems that players will have wait for the real sun to begin praising once again as the title has been delayed until the summer.

The PC, Sony PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game are is still coming 25th May 2018.
