[Update] PUBG Anti-Cheat Update Arrives February 5th 6PM PST

Steam Community :: Group Announcements :: PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS Over 1 million PUBG cheaters banned in January but it's “escalating”
Allan Lindsey | 07 February, 2018, 02:07

To use ReShade players had to edit the game's files, and many cheats function the same way.

A tweet (see below) on the official PUBG Twitter page pertains to an "unexpected issue" while testing the update, which aims to hinder cheaters from using certain programs that enhance the gameplay in an unfair manner. You won't face a band if ReShade is detected on your system, but if you won't be able to play PUBG so long as it's installed.

In addition, here are some other measures we have taken to effectively block and prevent cheat programs.

Players will not experience any downtime on the PUBG servers with this update, but it will include the new anti-cheat measures that the developer is taking. It's not clear if this means the frying pan was the most popular melee weapon in the game, but thanks to the infographic, we at least know the most popular firearms. The game is massive over there and Chinese players are often playing with western gamers which has led to demands for region locked servers.

WH: Trump Not Focused on Wall Street
The New York Times reported Trump bragged, boasted, and took credit for the skyrocketing stock market 25 times in January alone. And he didn't allow the stock market slide to dampen his remarks.

"We will be dealing with these cases as soon as possible".

Cheating in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has apparently almost become endemic, as the PUBG ban numbers reached over 1,044,000 players in just a month, last month.

Luckily for us, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds developer PUBG Corp is better dedicated to the cause. As part of the latest round of attempts to block cheaters, PUNG Corp has said that it'll nix family sharing in PUBG, so leeches will have to shell out for their own copies.

One of the biggest problems plaguing the incredibly successful PUBG, is the huge number of cheaters rearing their ugly heads and spoiling the fun for everyone else. You can, after all, get a new copy for not much money. If you think you're poor, just git gud.
