Since its release in United Kingdom cinemas last week, Marvel Studios' Black Panther has garnered global attention and praise from fans and critics alike. Not surprisingly, the best 4-day opening of all time is a Star Wars vehicle, with Star Wars: The Force Awakens having generated a whopping $288 billion in ticket sales during its first four days in the theater a few years ago. The site also says that it is the new record holder for largest February opening weekend ($202,003,951), the largest winter season opening weekend ($202,003,951), the largest Presidents Day weekend opening and the largest Thursday preview gross in the month of February ($25.2 million) - robbing the previous title holder, "Deadpool", of all four honors. It already has a worldwide total of $462.3 million. Consequently, Black Panther is now the second-highest grossing film of all time when looking at 4-day openings. It's notched an A+ Cinemascore - becoming only the second Marvel film to do so - and is a must-see cultural phenomenon.

And "Black Panther" has hit other high marks as well.

"Black Panther" is heading into its second frame with a strong possibility of becoming the fourth title to top $100 million in a sophomore session domestically. The Force Awakens made 54% in foreign markets.

Pakistan Supreme Court rules ousted PM Sharif can not lead his party
Another petitioner's counsel, Farogh Naseem, argued that there is a precedent of a court order against a political party's head. Sharif was disqualified as the Prime Minister after the Supreme Court convicted him in the Panama Papers case previous year .

With a stellar domestic start and a solid global launch so far, it's quite probable that "Black Panther" will join the 32 films with $1 billion in worldwide earnings by the end of its run.

The tentpole, starring Chadwick Boseman and directed by Ryan Coogler, has blown past its original tracking. The movie's protagonist and superhero Black Panther returns to his African homeland of Wakanda to assume the throne as King upon his father's death.
