The wife of an Uber driver who died after and an Indianapolis Colts player were hit by an alleged drunk driver on an IN interstate Sunday is speaking out about her husband's death.
Manuel Orrego-Savala, 37, is accused of driving under the influence and causing a crash that killed 26-year-old Indiana Colts player Jackson and his Uber driver on Sunday morning on an Indiana highway.
Police also said that Orrego-Savala was at almost three times the legal blood-alcohol content limit, which is 0.08 percent in Indiana.
As we've previously reported, officials say Orrego-Savala is from Guatemala and illegally entered the country multiple times over the years.
Orrego-Savala was arrested following the crash early Sunday along Interstate 70 in Indianapolis.
Orrego-Savala's only responses in court were answering through an interpreter as the judge explained the proceedings and charges.
