Star Wars' Cornelius Evazan actor, Alfie Curtis, has just passed away at the age of 87. Curtis' character appeared in the Mos Eisley cantina sequence, where he picked a fight with Luke Skywalker, only for his friend Ponda Baba to end up losing an arm thanks to Obi-Wan Kenobi's lightsaber. He has other films and TV shows to his credit, including The Elephant Man and The Wildcats of St. Trinian's.

'As horrific as he was on-camera, off-camera he was amusing, kind & a real gentleman.

One fan wrote: "Sorry to say that Alfie Curtis who worked with you on episode 4 of star wars passed away last week, he often spoke well of you".

Mark Hamill took to Twitter to pay tribute to Alfie Curtis and remembered him as "funny and kind".

The four teens, ages 13 and 14, were allegedly seen leaving the area of the overpass after the incident, police said. They know right from wrong, and should be charged as adults, she said. "He's gone [and] he's never coming back".

"Rest in peace, Dr. Evazan". I have been neighbours with him for ten years and often listened to the stories. "You had the death sentence on twelve systems but you'll forever live on in our nightmares and our hearts", one fan wrote.

Although Evazan was never named in Star Wars, and appeared only briefly, his backstory was developed elsewhere in the Expanded Universe (now referred to as Legends).

"His "I don't like you either" line was absolute perfection". "The bar scene in #StarWars remains one of the coolest sequences ever committed to film". Wholly original, it left an indelible mark on pop culture. A cause of death has yet to be revealed.
